What are the differences between Pilates classes?

We explain the difference between Private Pilates, Pilates Equipment Trios, Pilates Duets, Mat classes and TRX.
Private Pilates
Individual

Private Pilates

Private Sessions are also referred to as Solos or One on One sessions. By having a teacher all to yourself, we're able to tailor the session to your individual needs. Focusing on your goals, injuries (past and present), and personalized modifications to the exercises will make the most out of your efforts and time.

Our New Client Specials include an introductory session which involves an analysis of posture, a discussion of goals, and a development of a personalized program.

All sessions are by appointment only.

Duet Pilates

Many people want a private pilates session with a friend or spouse, we refer to this as a Duet or Duo, where two people share one instructor.

We suggest you take advantage of our New Client Specials to review your needs and familiarize yourself with the equipment.

All sessions are by appointment only.

Pilates Mat Classes

Mat classes are the foundation of the Pilates Method. Students use their own body and small props to create resistance. The exercises are designed to align, lengthen, and strengthen the body in a unique way. Often, you will see foam rollers, small balls, Therabands, and Magic Circles. These classes are challenging and provide a great workout while being suitable for students of all levels and abilities.
